I was lucky enough to venture with Dr Harrison and Father Vang. I saw a lot of things and experienced a lot of new foods and traditions. I was blown away by two things and I would love to tell you about. On a warm clear Sunday morning I was able to head towards the Cambodian border and go to a traditional Montangnard service. The experience of sitting up in a “tree house” and have a religious celebration with all of the locals who had walked miles to come to Sunday mass and then being able to eat and drink with them afterwards was a once in a lifetime experience.

On the final day I had the most loving experience on the whole trip. To be invited into the Jarai tribe at the final evening of our trip was just over the top. They welcomed us into the tribe and enrobed us with a traditional handmade coat and we danced and ate the evening away.

It was an experience as a whole I wish could never end but on the other hand I felt I needed to come home to share the fellowship and work we did and the needs that are constant.
